i have heavy rims, 29 lbs a piece i think. dont remember.

i think if u get better tires it makes up for it. i know in my stock 15s that it takes a few seconds for me to get traction. when im riding with the nittos, i get instant movement.

the real question is: do you care? i wouldnt mind losing some speed for strong rims with decent quality.

Dont get those rims dude. Everyone and there momma has those. Motegi MR7's are played out. I see 1 person with those everytime i ride around. They look good, but of course its your car and choice.

that's pretty heavy. try to get forged wheels if you can get your hands on them. racing hart cp-035's are approx 14lbs for 17" rims.

Whaaaaat? Forged rims cost way more than $150, more like $350 each for 16s. Also, forged rims are excellent quality.
