i dont know for 18s, but I have 215/45/17s and lowered on GCs and not rubbing for me. The tires are slightly bigger than stock which I like because I know lots of people with 205/40/17s and more drop and I have less tire gap...

I have 215/35-18's myself and a drop of about 1.5", no rubbing. Alot of members have 215/40-18 which are thicker yet and no rubbing there either. Again remember that 19" wheels will fit your Civic (with 215/35-19 tire) so I would'nt worry about a 215/35-18 unless they tuck under the fender, then they may rub. Check the Tire Calc at the top of the paage to get an idea what matches the stock tire the best.

wtf.. are you shitting me? alot of people here gave 215s.. you can fit 215s easily.. i run 215-40-18 on neuspeed sports.. still way too damn high.. i'm pretty sure you can even run 225s, thats what i want to get next 225-35-18
I am running with 225/35/18's and a 2" drop. No other mods except for a rear camber kit. NO RUB at all. I've had them since November driving on freeways and back road. Don't let anyone tell you different.

205 does not exists on 18" rims the smallest is 215. yes you wont have a problem with 215-35-18
u needa get 215/45/17... the 205/40/17 is too small. The diameter is like one inch smaller. Your speedometer and odometer will be off if you get 205/40/17s.
BTW..the offset of your rims matter more than the tire width size. You'll rub if you get an incorrect offset.
