Wholesale prices

Does anyone know how much a wheel store buys their wheels from the company? I was looking around for a set of 5zigen fireballs, and another member said that a store that was a 5zigen distributor was selling the 17 with falken 512s for 825! In general, do companies such as wheelmax, direct tires, etc. just inflate their prices that high? Or should i be suspicious of the store? Or could I even bargain to get the wheels lower? Thanx alot for any help!!

of course stores buy from wholesale companies and they have to raise the price to match hte percent profift they mus meet or exceed. some have a higher percent profit (more expensive) and some are lower. if hes a wholesale dealer he can get the **** for dirt cheap WHOLESALE prices. prblem with it is you must buy in bulk. thats why you start a group buy. just get a tax id or license or something like that and go to a wholesale company website, give em your info and they'll send you a mag. **** be cheap.

if you're on a budget, just get yourself a set of used wheels/tires.

It could have a lot to do with the quality of the wheel. The cheaper wheels may have small factory defects which they feel they can sell no problem. Or it may also be the quantity of wheels that store buys, the more 5zigen wheels that store buys the more discount they will get, so they pass the savings along to the customer. Just my thought.
