change tires
ok this is going to sound noob, but eih
How long does it take for the stock tires to wear out, i mean when do i need to replace them? the weather is snowy and **** here so i am killing my tires cause of all the spinning i do in the snow. also when they wear out, do u need to replace the stock rim? cause if i do then i will have an excuse to buy fancy rims, and how much will it cost to change the tires approximatly?
thanks

no you dont have to buy new rims.. just replace the tires. they cost anywhere from $100 to probably $400 for 4... just get the right size and you'll be fine.. you could go a lil wider then the stock 185(?) and go with a 205. but for snow i heard thinner tires(width wise) were better. i wouldnt know cause i live in sunny socal

Spinning the tires in the snow is a result of little or no traction... So you aren't wearing out your tires much since there is nothing resisting the tire's motion.... that's why they spin. You should get anywhere from 50000-80000 miles out of the stock tires unless you beat the hell out of them, in which case, much less.
