wheel specs

ive got a 2002 civic ex coupe. i have no idea what a wheel has to be to fit my car (lug pattern or whatever). also tires have these three numbers ?/?/?. what do they mean.

our lug pattern is 4x100.. it means 4 holes 100mm apart...
example tire 215-40-18:
width: 215mm
sidewall: 40% of 215 is 86mm
rim size: 18

you want to try and be as close to stock. or depending on what rim size, if you have a kit, what kind of drop, the roads on your area, you decide on what size tires you need...

I also have a 2002 civic ex coupe. Im planning on buying rims but Im not sure what to get because I dont want something thats going to mess up my speedometer and my mileage. I used the tire calc and I was thinking about going with the 205-45-17. Do you guys think this is a good size. My main concern is the mileage. Let me know what you guys think
