Opinions Please!!!

I'm selling my 17" Concept Neeper Titans because I wanna change from show to race. What do you think, as far as racing rims go. "Should I go 19's or 18's?" I know it's my ride and up to me what I want, just wanted to know if you were shoppin for rims for racing, what size would prolly be the best?

Race like how? In a straight line or through corners?
Drag racing... as small as you can. 14's or 15's. Keep the inertia down so you can start faster.
Autocross... pick your side of the arguement....
15's for light weight and cheaper replacement
16-17 for lower sidewall tires.
Style is not important as strength and weight.
Stronger and lighter is obviously better. Lots of open area in the rim is also good (brake cooling).

Personally, I'm gonna keep my 15" Si's and put lower profile, wider tread tires on them for AutoX, then get a set of 17's for the road.

if you serious about racing, you should probably keep your 17's......19's are definitely for show ONLY IMO. 18's look good, thats what I have. I love em. Like you said, it's really up to you. have you sold your 17's?

DizWikedCivic is on a distinguished road
if you going all go, the smaller the better, it takes less force to spin the wheel

I wouldn't go larger than 16s for a true race set-up. Get some forged Racing Harts. They're like 12lbs a piece. They're NICE. Anything 17" or above is a serious show rim in my mind. Think about how much your 17s, 18s, or 19s weigh. Then think about how much power its gonna take to get those suckers moving as when compared to something that weights less than half of what a lot of those rims weigh.

if i was gonna race, i would've gotten 16" rota slipstreams or 16" volk TE-37's, not big show rims.

Word.
Of course, you can still have showy rims, they've just gotta be light, strong, and good looking. Off the top of my head... here's a list of light, good looking rims that I've gone through on the way to the final decision:
Volk TE-37
Volk CE28N
Advan RG
RH Evo CP8R
Stern Aguzze S07
OZ Superleggera
Weds RS-5SS TSSC
Spoon SW388 (Regamaster Evo)
Mugen MF8/10

Now granted all of those are expensive as hell, but you get what you pay for. All of those in 16" are less than 14 lbs.
I finally decided to go with 16x7 LE37T's (the diamond cut version of the TE37), and they could serve as show rims if I wanted them to.... but I'd rather race on them. I'm pricing them this week, and hopefully I can get it all set up so I have them when my tax return comes back.
If you're on a budget, well, Rotas are there, Konig Helium, Holes and Greenlights are light, there's probably tons of others to choose from. Then comes the all important tires.... but that's a whole nother thread.
