225/40/17?

has any body tried this, i know they will fit on some 17x7.5 rims... because i now have some 225/40/18's and the width is 7.5

yup, they'd work. thats not a common tire size tho.

Yeah, I asked the same question awhie back... They should fit and the sidewalls of the tire should be a little bit taller than say a 205/40.... The only company that I've seen make the size is Nitto... not bad, but I need to use up my 205 tires first, which'll be a year or two...
