Can someone please explain the process of powder coating rims to me?

First the wheels are chemically stripped of their clear coat or other protective finishes. Next they are sandblasted to remove all surface imperfections and then are placed in an oven to release gasses trapped in the metal. After that they are sprayed with an even coat of powder coating and then placed in an oven for about 45 min. at around 400 degrees (depending on wheel). The wheels are then pulled out of the oven and left to cure in open air for about 20 min. For more info click here
