19' rims/ wheel well
19' rims/ wheel well
i was at this local car shop and i saw some zenetti 19' 5 star chrome rims. i had him price it with tires came to around $2600...
he said i have to remove the wheel well and that dirt adn stuff would get into the engine area more then normal.... has this caused anyone problems ?

23s???? are you on crack? i like big wheels but 23s on a civic? damn homeboy...
and are zenetti's that expensive? my friend got 20" katanas for 2200. yes i know katana's are comparable to like tenzo Rs when it comes to chrome wheels but unless if its lowenharts i wouldnt pay 2600 for some 19s. i'm sure you could find them cheaper. i mean with money you can fit 23s, but its going to cost alot, and your going to have to do some body work. you can possibly fit 20s but as of now, they dont make 20s in 4 lugs so thats going to be a major problem(5 lug conversion is going to cost alot). you could always get the wheels custom made but also finding tires thats skinny enough might be a problem. i think the smallest 20s they have is like 235s. never seen 20s on a civic before tho... the giovanna RSX has 20s on it tho, but then there wheel wells are slightly larger and can fit 235 tires on them.
but ya 19s is an easy swap. just make sure to get 215-35-19 cause anything bigger is too big. alot of people drop it with the prokit(about 1.3" drop) but there are a few with sportlines.. they say it rubs a little. i think it should fit fine tho cause i have 215-40-18 and i think they're only like .4" (the most) smaller then 215-35-19s. .4" would convert to a .2" smaller gap... i have neuspeed sports with 1 finger gap and .2" is not bigger then 1 finger so it should fit.

i'm guessing you never seen this pic before...

but ya depending on the camber, the wheels should tuck so that it goes into the fender well and not the fender.
i dont have a camber kit so i could fit 5 people in the car with no problems. i've even parked on a steep/slanted hill and had my tires tuck 2-3". if it does end up hitting the fender lip, just roll it or keep a slight negative camber. or you could do both.
