They are good all season tires. I currently have the Yokohama YK420's which are essentially the same tires. Good tire for the price. Although not as good as the Falken Ziex I once had. Also be careful about lateral movement with them in the rain. I drove my car in a bush by going to fast around a shapr turn

CivicRacer5, I have Yokohama Avid Touring (185/70/14) on my Civic. They're a definite improvement over the stock Firestones. Supposedly they have an 80,000-mile treadlife. I only have 2,000 on them so far. They're great value tires. They were $39/tire at http://www.tirerack.com when I bought them. I would read reviews on TireRack before getting them or any tire. The Avid Touring got good reviews and you can find a comparison on that website among Avid Touring, Avid H4, and Avid T4. I went with the Touring over the T4 because the Touring were cheaper and they supposedly have better wet traction. If treadlife doesn't matter and performance does, then go with the H4 or V4 (that is if you're a Yokohama fan). Otherwise there are plenty of other good tires out there. Good luck!

How's the wet traction on the H4s? What size do you have?

They are completly different tires. The Yk420's have less milage rating and better speed rating and are made much better. Also much more expensive ~$40 compared to about $80 per tire.
