good wheel cleaner.... paper towels
any cloth gets too dirty and you have to wash them alone so that the dirt wont stick to other clothes... paper towel, you just clean and throw it away. a dry paper towel will get rid of all the brake dust and stuff but every once in awhile, the wheels will have spots the dry towel wont get out so i just put a lil bit of water to get those out.
tires.. i dont really clean my tires but i do put dressing on it, i use a paper towel for that too but it tares(my mind just went blank, how do you spell it?) up easy and doesnt work too great...

Plain and simple simple green that stuff is awsome. it takes off brake dust like its nothing, just leaves a fractional amount left on the rim which can be wiped off easily, and simple green is cheap too

Simple Green is the shiznit!!!!!! It works like no other. I may only have steelies right now, but I use it on the 17s on my moms car and it is freekin awesome. Only way to go.
I don't use any wheel cleaner anymore ever since one of my friends left it on his mag too long and the finish just came right off!!!! Paper towels are very good, but you should have a look at shop towels (they sell those in any good hardware store). They're like paper towels, but much much stronger (you can even wet them if you want), they do an absolutely amazing job at cleaning your wheel, and you can use them for a million other things (armor all the interior, etc)
For the tires, I simply use eagle one wet spray, they make the tire look so damn shiny it's insane!!! I've tried other brands, and they can't compare. I've also tried eagle one wet gel, that you apply with a sponge. They look ok, I don't find they shine as much, although the shine will last longer, but man is it a dirty job putting this stuff on!!!
Anyways, hope this helps!

simple green isn't a wheel cleaner. its an all purpose auto cleaner, but it works best on brake dust on fimrs and like little things on your paint that soap won't get offf but its completly safe it you take finish off or anything
