Ok, I've posted quite a few questions on these boards, and I want to thank you all for your help, I am getting my rims in one week!!
I've decided on 17" Konig Tantrums with Yokohama AVS ES100 Tires in 215/40/17. Do you think I'll have any problems with a 2in
drop (I plan on getting the Kaminari Lip kit) rubbing? I'm torn between the Neuspeed sports and race springs, friends all say
go with the 2in drop, but they don't know if it'll rub. Thanks again for your help, I'll post pics of my ride once the 14" hubs are gone!

i have the same wheels but with 205/45/17 tires, & i have the eibach prokit, which drops it about an inch, & there is still a little over an inch of fender gap left. & i have the OEM body kit, anyhow I have no problems what so ever. I think you'll be just fine.
i'd say listen to your friends and get the race. i have 215-40-18 tires which is an inch bigger then yours. i have 1 finger gap all around.... with those tires, you'll probably have a 1 finger gap all around too with the race.
cool, gonna go with it!
Unfortunately I can't get the Yokohama tires I wanted, they are on national backorder according to Discount
Tire. Now it's one of these:
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
Yokohama Parada Spec-2
Falken GR Beta FK-451
Dayum, and I was all set looking forward to getting those tires! Any ideas??

i personally dont like the paradas, i think the tread looks ugly. i know alot of people will disagree with me tho.
kumhos are known as a good cheap brand.. not sure how the tread looks
i like the tread on the falkens. i dont think they're as sticky as the other two but thats why falkens usually last longer.
might want to look into falken 512s. they're not as agressive looking as 451 but they are all seasonal which will give you fairly good handling in wet roads and they last longer. the place i bought it from has a 30k mile warranty, i think falken offers a 50k mile warranty tho

VNlilMAN, I kinda agree with you, the paradas tread pattern is strange. You have the Falken 512's? Do they grip well? They look
good to me, and the treadwear is better (300) than the others I was looking at. I like the price on them too!
Falken 512 ($95) and Kumho Ecsta ($101):

if you compare 451 to 512, the 512 tread looks like crap. but ya 512 will probably last twice as long as 451. well maybe not twice but 1.5 times. 512s grip fairly well for all seasons i would say. i dont drag or autox so they're good enough for me. i just wanted tires that looked decent but lasted long and these do it. if you decide on the ecstas, you might as well go with the 451 cause i think the 451s look much better and i think they're only like $4 more. here's a picture of the 451
