save ur money for other items such as cosmetics and suspension parts,steel braided line really looks neat and cool but u may not get to see them hiding behind the wheels,very seldom to see the stock hoses give up on us but then again,its ur money.
In my opinion, steel braided hoses are only necessary if you are doing a big brake upgrade. The only real advantage to them on a stock set up is better pedal feel, and if you are using your brakes where pedal feel is an issue, you need to upgrade anyway. If steel braided hoses are what you need, all I know of is AEM, so I can't give an opinion on which hose it better. My vote: Save up for big brakes or use the cash on some I.C.E.

Braided lines aren't a waste of money, the 2 most important things on a car are the brakes and tires. If you do any kind of road racing like in a SCCA club, braided lines can keep anything on the track from kicking up and rupturing the line, thus saving your brakes and your arus.
