kumhos' or toyo's??

im selling my 17'' toxxins with yok's and next rims i buy are gonna be the exel h-50's off wheelmax and they offer either: kumho's with 225/40/18, toyo 215/35/18's or toyo 225/40/18. what would be the best tires to go with. the yok a520's that i have now seem noisy whcih one of those would be the best for low noise, wet traction, and dry traction????/

Stay away from Kumho's. My boy had bought 4 new kumho ecstas had it for a week and he found a bubble in one on the sidewall...he replaced that tire....2 weeks later after auto-xn we find another bubble....I planned on purchasing kumho's till my boy started having problems. I auto-xd on my stock firestones for almost a year and never had a problem with them....Personally I like Bridgestones, for our cars i'd go with the RE950's or S03's or S04's

personally, i have falken azenis sports but in 205/50/15. and i love them . they were cheap and have great street tire grip. as for your sizes: i like these other tires that i have used on other cars: toyo t1-s, bridgestone re730, re950, or any of the sole positions, yoko paradas, falkens 512. but with all these tires they wear down fast especially the street tires b/c of they do get good grip. bridestone though have good all-weather traction and tread wear- very good all around tire.

It all depends on how much $ you got and how you plan on using them

I have kuhmo and i am happy with them but I only use them for daily driving, no autox no race nada.

I would say of the 2, go with Toyo's. I have had my Proxe FZ4's for several months now and they still grip really well to the road. Haven't once slipped in the rain and I do drive my baby pretty hard *sometimes to hard*. The Kumhos have good tread life but aren't as sticky as the Toyo's. IMO the Kumho's are better for a daily driver and Toyo's better for more agressive drivers.

I would try www.tirerack.com and look up the exact reviews of the tires. I did and I chose the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's.

225/40/18 rubs wayy too much if ur car is lowered just had them on my car kumhos at that they straight up suck and they last no time what so ever. I had 215/35/18 nitto's before that they dont scrub and they last a hole lot longer if i was u i would go with toyo thtas what i had on my 17's and they never wore down at all
