Breaks Squeak.....

Hey everyone, for the past few weeks I have noticed that one of my brakes is squeaking when I stop. I am pretty sure that it is coming from my right rear drum brake. I don't know if something is wrong. I know that with disc brakes, dirt gets in between the brake and disc and makes noise but I am pretty sure that drum brakes are enclosed and stuff can't get in it. Could you all please tell me what or why this is happening?

Get your brake pads and shoes inspected. It is probably squeaking because the pads are worn really low and the rotor is rubbing against a metal clip that warns you when the brake pads are low.
