imo...i just think they dont look as good as silver polished ones

Rep Power: 0 if i had a black car i would buy black rims for a stealth look. along with carbon fiber tail lights and headlights. darkest tint all around too.

Rep Power: 0 I agree with Ironcow, I don't think black rims looks good on any car. When the car is moving it's hard to distinguish rim from tire. And I also have a problem with people taking their hubs off to show off those "sporty" stock black wheels.

People have their own tastes/preferences, which is why they put altezza, black rims, or whatever goodies that floats their boat. Personaly I think they look like winter tires when they are in motion, but to each their own right?
Now to answer your question. MOST people that get black rims do it for a given "look" that they desire. People with black cars like to make their cars look stealth, which would include Projector lamps, CF altezza lights, CF hood, and normally black rims to complete that "theme" and look. Yes maybe YOU like silver rims better, but what kind of dumb post is this? Isn't it Obvious that people buy black rims because they sure as hell want to put black rims?

Rep Power: 0 There's an older Mexican guy in my town that has yellow rims and yellow graphics on a black 7th gen and to top it off the yellow on the graphics is a completely different shade of yellow than the rims. This is the ugliest 7th gen I've seen so far.

Rep Power: 0 i didnt want to go as far as black wheels, but i wanted a darker color so i got the gunmetal. i think it looks really good with my color scheme.
