Hey guys I wandered what everyone thought about 18 inch konig blatants on a black 2k1 civic which is lowered already and has a honda OEM kit and spoiler. I got the black projectors too. I wondered what people thought lemme know.

my opinion is that the only black rims that look good on any car would have to have a polished lip at least.. cause if the rim is all black, it looks like stock wheels minus the hubs from a distance [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]

I don't know about that.... black rims on a black car? Maybe like plastic mentioned... with the polished lip or something, but it may be too much of one color.

The polished lip is a really good idea. I mean, if you're going to spend the extra cash on 18's, why hide the fact by making the distinction between wheel and tire so blurred?

Now be careful, here. If you're not going for a slight European look to your Civic, you may not want to go this route. Can we say 911-look? I've ALWAYS loved the older Porsches because of the simplicity of their design, and their black wheels with polished lips have long been a trademark.

I say go for black rims with polished lips, preserve the rest of the black on black scheme for your car. It'll look great!

get some tenzo-r sinko is gunmetal with polished lip. black on black just doesn't look that nice especially at nights.

Yeah, go for something with at least a polished lip so its seeable and wont look like donuts... I wanted black too, but trust me, after I got my gunmetal Tenzo passion-5, I loved it!!! good luck man...

I agree w/black on black, a polished lip would look nice too. Looks total sinister.
