17" Toxxin's - 235/45/17 too big?

Im picking up some 17" Toxxin's for me EX Coupe. They come with 235/45/17s for a really good price...but I see most people running 215s on their toxxin's...Is 235 too large?

Way too big ..

215/45R17 is about the biggest tire that will fit without affecting performance. Anything bigger you'll loose a fair bit of power to the wheels.

Cheers

Yep, 215/45/17, that's what I got my Toxxins wrapped in too. That size is actually the official Honda recommended size for 17" rims and the closest to the stock 15"s which is a good thing because your speedometer will not be thrown off.

Here is a closeup of the rubber/rims on my car...

I calculated the 215/45R17 to be within .6% of the stock EX wheel/tire combo. That's why I went 45 series instead of 40, but I might switch to 40 series after I lower.
