just got 18's, but need tire size help!
got some enkei 18x7 rs6 rims. what i need to know is what size tire should i get? actually they are my girlfreind's, but she doesn't get on here often. anyways, let me know if you have a good recomendation on a tire brand and size for the 18x7's.
215/35/18
presonally, i think which tire brand depends on how much you wanna/can spend... i can say yea get bridgestone potenza so3, toyo proxes, blah blah blah, but if u dont want to spend that kind of money, that would all be useless information to you.

do you all know how much of a drop the car will handle with the 215/40's? i think my girl is planning on about 1-1 1/2 inch drop. she said that she will do what i tell her is best. i personally think a 1 1/4 drop wouldn't be too bad for any road condition. will the tires rub with a 1 1/4 inch drop? or am i gonna have to get the fenders curled? thanx for the input guys.
Yeah I was wondering the same thing.. I'm bout to get 18x7.5 Toxxins and I was wanting to drop it 2inches but I didn't know if it would rub or not?? and if it did is there any way to fix it?

i have neuspeed sports(~1.75" drop, 1 1/2 finger gap with stock lx wheels) sittin on 215-40-18s. now i have a 1 finger gap all around... no rubbing what so ever. its .6" bigger in diameter which explains for the smaller gap but the car is now .6" higher. i would have gone with 215-35 but those are smaller the stock giving you more actual miles on the odometer, more chance of cracking them on the ghetto streets of LA. i think 225-35 would have been nice but its hard to find and costs more... i got falken 512s btw, i could have gotten 451s but i had to wait a week and theres no warranty on those.

I'd go with a 215/40/18 tire. It'll be less likely to rub than a 225, and it'll protect your rim better than a 35 series. I'm prone to recommend the Yokohama Parada Spec-2's. They're a good all-around tire, and have EXCELLENT wet traction. Plus, the tread pattern is CRAZY . . .

i would have to say 215 /35/18 thats what i have i also have parada spec 2 and i like them a lot plus the pattern is hot. it all depend i have my car lowered and i have 35 series it just looks better more aggressive loook to the car and your rims

How ever, try some 205/35/18. I am not sure 215's or bigger will fit. I know when I checked the space in the rear, between the tire and the trunk wall, there wasnt too much more room, and 205's were tight.
