it's all up to who handles the package. they might open it to see whats inside and then carelessly drop it.. anything can happen, but i guess always wish for the best

wrap them up in bubble wrap and tape up the endges with masking tape and they will be fine.

Make sure that when the box is sealed that the rims do not move at all inside the box. there should be packaging material surrounding the rims completly. Assume that those boxes are gonna get tossed around alot.. cause thats what usually happens in the shipping process.
