Keeping Rims Clean!!

Dunno if this forum or detailing but we will see....ok the Rims!! is there any solution to keeping that black brake dust off the rims? i mean like some cleaning solution that repels it to a degree or do u just stick to washing ur rims THROUGHLY everytime u wash the car?

Dont get me wrong i clean my rims everytime i wash my baby but i spend more time gettin the black dust off the rims then i actually do on the car! Was just curious peeps, thx for any help.

With my rims I wipe them down with a rag everyday after I get done drivin, keeps them shiny. Seems a little **** retentive but their easier to clean if you don't let the brake dust build up on them.

go with EBC greeen stuff break pads next time you change your break pads, they are great for reducing break dust!
i've used rainaway car wax by turtle wax on my rims and to remove break dust is as easy as spraying them down with a hose and driving away to dry them naturally....

Either use diffrent brake pads or apply wax or wheel polish to make your rims smoother. This will make it easier to clean.

Yeah, I have a problem of letting the dust build up.

White Rims are a pain, and I think I will go to being **** and rubbing them every time I get back home. Yeah it will take a few minutes each time, but I gotta do it, maybe this will set me up to when I get a Turbo.

The inner parts of my rims are the hardest to clean, and rust has occurred, but I'm sure it will be just as new once I wax them. Whenever that will be.
