substitute for stock tires: ex coupe

can't afford new wheels but would like to put some new rubber on the ex coupe. standard size is 185/65 R15. what size would give me a little more grip, look beefier, and still fit the wheels? any recommendation on brands? dig it

Hey man,
Try some Yokohomo T4's ...they are great tires and very reasonably priced, you can get them off tirerack.com or search for tires on the internet, or a local tire store , but they may not carry them. I had them on my CRX, now I have a 2002 Honda civic Lx Coupe , with the lame tires that came on it. Get some Yoko's and you will like them. Riptide

Best upgrade size to use on the stock 15" rims is 205/60/15. It'll match your overall diameter well and it'll give you a wider footprint.

I like the looks of the Yokohama AVS dB. They're supposed to be quiet and smooth riding with excellent grip.
