Wheel size advice

So I have a 2005 civic coupe and was interested in getting wheels only problem is that the smallest width available for this wheel is 17x9 and has a choice for offset either +22 or +35. Was just wondering if anyone was running these specs and if you could provide some photos it would be much appreciated. Also any advice that you have if this setup could even be possible would help out. Thank you.

This is close:

35 would be better but 9" is pretty wide.

Re: Wheel size advice

Yea all the EM2s that I have seen go with 8"... just found another wheel that is 17x8.5 with +35 offset and i think I might go with that and if anything I'll just roll the fender.

Lightbulb Re: Wheel size advice

My current set up on my 05 LX is Focal F20's 17x8 +42 offset on 225/45/r17. They sit just flush with the frame but with the slightest poke, and they look HARD.
if you get like a +25 offset you can definitely run 17x9, there will be poke but what's wrong with that

I have the exact same car and I cannot find out what ET I need to make 8" rims poke just a little. Would you mind taking a picture from above where you can see the edge of the fender and the tire beneath so I can get an idea of how much poke you have?

I want to achieve this look:

I can't tell if they're 16s or 17s but comparing it to you it looks like they're 17s probably with an ET between 35-25.
