ABS controlled via ECM?

Need to know if the abs is controlled through the ecm or its own computer? Just finished a auto to manual swap and need to get a ecm reflashed by next month so I can do emissions test. My car was auto non vtec and now I've got a vtec and manual trans. I'm using vafc2 for the vtec so I need a manual non vtec ecu, but all the ones I can find at the junkers are non abs cars. Any input greatly appreciated

My car
What car? I don't see any car here.

Most ABS systems are standalone, little or no shared data until you get into VSA systems.
(I don't really know for sure, I've never researched this.)

Re: ABS controlled via ECM?

Plug in the new computer. The original ABS will work normally, it's a standalone system on that car.
