Want to put 14" steelies with snow tires on my '02 EX without affecting the speedo I would like to get some 14" steelies from a junkyard or something and put some cheapo snow tires for the winter on them (I live in New England, and my current tires are dangerous in the snow/may not pass inspection.) I can get DX/LX 14" wheels and the bolts will match, yes? And what size tire should I get so that the speedo won't be affected?
BTW, the whole deal with going 14" is so I not only have snow tires on their own rims but in a size that I can get decent tires much cheaper with a bigger selection. I read the FAQs, and...not much enlightenment. I'll probably order from Tirerack.

185-70-14 is stock tire size.
