help needed asap bake work

01 civic ok so fluid was dirty replaced brake fluid i had warped rotors replaced pads and had a grinding noise front left tire (driver) its a girding noise metal on metal ok rubber line was bad was not able to push piston back in caliper. so its got new rotors pads driver side brake hose it was plugged still grinding i was told that it was master cyl from my friend all that left is master cyl and caliper what is it sick of sinking money guessing ????? here is why i don't believe bad master just due to pedal not spongy or nothing is it a caliper??? and slide pins are greased one is springy other not buy both move.

Why?? It's always best to update old threads, keeps all the info together.

Did you use cheap pads? They can make grinding noises even if they are new. If your caliper was sticking then it should have been difficult to press back in when replacing the pads. Did you use the correct grease?

Remove the caliper from that side and inspect it again.

The brake dust shield might be hitting the rotor, its easy to bend them.

Ok I used o'reilly brake best pads and caliper was easy to push back in re bled system it only comming from driver side and no abnormal pad or rotor wear all in town driving and I did use permit ex side grease greased everything up good so master cyl or caliper I lost

Did you replace the calipers? they can seize. It's easy to check for, pull the wheel off and if the pad is touching the rotor without the brakes engaged then the caliper is frozen.
