Help. first time with rims. Lugs? Offset?

ok im planning to make my first attempt at getting some new wheels. For the rim/tire specs itself i know what I need but I don't know much about the lugs and offset. Say I got some Konig feathers how do I know what lugs would be good cuz I know that stock lugs with w/ aftermarket wheels is an accident waiting to happen.

Her's a link of what im looking at..the offset on the page says 38 but isn't the offset 40-42 for my 02 civic ex?? what has to happen.

below is the link for the wheels.

Advice is very much appreciated. thanks.

you will be fine with a 38 offset and any tuner lugs will work for those wheels

That offset is perfectly fine for your car, it all depends on the geometry of the wheels. I can't imagine that 38 would look bad, as long as it's not less than 30 you shouldn't have a problem. My wheels currently are 37 offset.

For lugs, most aftermarket wheels use chamferred or "acorn" style lugnuts.
OEM Honda lugs are rounded on the ends so they're not recommended. The wrong nut could cause damage to the countersink. Lots of brands make them so do some searching before picking a set. I have black Gorilla lugs and I like them!
