OEM Honda wheels use a round style lug nut. Most aftermarket lugs are cone shaped. If you can find round style lug nuts that are red then you will be good. NEVER use the wrong kind, they WILL NOT SEAT PROPERLY and will fall off.

Adapters sounds like over-complicating things.
More parts = more things that could go wrong and... = more money
I'd try to find nuts that are designed for OEM Honda rims as pointed out below.

"Acorn nut" is a nut that has the threads covered on one end, typically with a rounded or domed shell. The term has nothing to do with the style of the seat, which is the important thing in this thread.
There are acorn nuts on most of the valve covers. That doesn't make them lugnuts.

Most stock Honda lugnuts are already acorn type.
