I got this guy who is wanting my Rota's really bad and he is offering me in trade. His 17s with pretty good tread on tires plus his sound system. Now the rims are not the best of brands and the clear is coming off a little but that really dont matter.

Im liking the idea of bigger rims just for the reason that my car is a little to low. yes I know I have coil overs and I can raise the car if I wanted but I just dont want a big gap between my tire and fender.

The rims the guy wants to trade me are Akita's 17x7 +40 offset with 215-40-17 tires.

My Question I guess is what do you all think of the idea of 17's on our cars?

so cheap azz rims for cheap azz rims plus a system what is in this system exactly. 17s look the best on 7th gens its just a harsher ride so most people shy away from them.

Cheap AZZ rims yeah sure whatever you want to call them.
and system im sure is a CHEAP AZZ system as well. its just 2 12's and some amp.

17's with low profile tires on a 7th gen are basically the same size as stock wheels and tires, perfect set-up in my opinion.
