Re: help with 18's.

Your not going to have a great ride with 18's because you need to run a very low sidewall tire to prevent rubbing, but tokico hps with tein s.techs or h.techs would be a perfect set-up for you.

Re: help with 18's.

If you want a drop for comfort with 18s? You can drop up to an 1". More like .75"

You want to drop 1" to 1.5", this is a compromise of comfort for looks/performance. -1 to -1.5 degrees negative camber.

If you wanna frop 1.5" to 2" with 18s, you'll have very little comfort. Mild fender rolling, rears only. More Negative Camber.

More the 2", all looks. NO COMFORT at all, unless you downsize the wheel size. Even then, suspension travel sucks (unless you modify a lot of other things). Fullly roll all fenders, remove front liners.

Re: help with 18's.

I've tried 17"s with a 45 sidewall, 18"s with a 40 sidewall and 19"s with a 35 sidewall. I had it lowered about 45mm using TEIN S-Tech springs when I had the 17"s with no issues until the dampers broke. Then I upgraded to TEIN fully adjustable coilovers and it is now lowered about 80-90mm and running 7.5"x18" wheels (38mm offset), 215/40/18 tyres and no problems. The 19"s are 8" wide but rub on the inner fenders so I've given up on those. The 18"s are best for me.
