All rims with a 4x100 bolt pattern will fit. You can go up to 17 inch rims with 205/40/17 tires and you won't have any rubbing issues. Though this will raise your car a bit and you'll need to drop it if you want it to look it's nicest.
If you don't want tthat big, maybe 205/40/16 will be a better choice.

and I think you have to aim for an offset between 35 and 44.. something like that. If someone has actual numbers for the actual offset limits we have, feel free to post up.
Until then, I'd aim for a 40-42 offset..

they are MSR style 113, 17", and honestly my favorite. i used to have some similar to these on my prev car, and want em again for my civic. its a 2001 ex.. does anyone know if these will work? or should i not get my hopes up? here is a pic of em:

If those were in black I would get them for my ride..i'm a fan of black rims...always was even before they became popular...but do you have pics of your ride up on the forum? just curious so I can picture what they would look like on it.

You can go quite a bit larger than 205/40/17 without rubbing issues.

I've run 215/45-17's with no rubbing issues. Lowered, no less
Oh, and 25 lbs for rims is HELLA heavy.. jeebus.. I think stock steelies are only 22 or something like that.

225 seems to have rubbing - ask lazlong why i know :P - so 215 will be the limit for 45R17
'and 25 lbs is really heavy. expect sluggish acceleration and slower braking unless mostly hgy driving.
funny part - OP (Yanksrox2) never came back later on - just one post is all

205/50's eat your fender linings. I know that one from experience. I had to get that tire size because my summer tires weren't cutting it for a freak winter I had in WA state.. Stupid snow... stupid state for caring about salmon more than people, and thus using that as their reason for not salting the roads.. I had no problem running nitto neogens throughout an upstate NY winter.
