DO NOT BUY FROM WHEELMAX!

I told everyone that I would report back when I got my wheels, and boy did everything that could go wrong..... DID.

1. they mispelled my last name on the first order... when i called back a few days later for tracking numbers, it showed that they were never ordered when in fact they were but under "oshee" instead of "foshee".

2. The guy took out ANOTHER $1000 out of my freakin account without my say so, and then had the nerve to tell me he couldn't put it back. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] (for assuming the wheels weren't ordered) This left my account at $30 with my insurance due the next day. (ins is direct withdrawal meaning my ins was considered late cuz this guy took out 1000 dollars of MY money that happened to be the day before my payment was due.) F-HIM@!!!!!![IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]

3. The money is credited back to my account (thank god) so I feel the worst is over and now all i have to do is wait......

4. The wheels got here today and upon tearing them open I realize they sent me FREAKIN WHITE RACING HART S7's INSTEAD OF SILVER!!!!!!!!![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

5. I immediately call them and the guy gives me a number (ups customer service i think) so I can ship them back. I'm pretty sure they will try and screw me by making me pay a shipping fee for THEIR mistake! So, tomorrow morning I'm gonna either talk to the direct boss of this dumbass and/or fight with ups and have them come pick this crap up.

BTW, these guys tried to tell me I gave them the wrong spelling of my OWN LAST NAME!!!!!! WTF I think i know how to spell my OWN LAST NAME!!!!!!!! All they do is play the blame game....

They were arguing with my like they wer my parents! F-THEM DO NOT BUY FROM THEM they are INCOHERENT BASTARDS WHO SHOULD NOT PROCREATE! END OF STORY AND IM OFF THE SOAP BOX. I hope to steer all of you clear of the crap i am STILL going through.. take my advice Wheelmax is BAD!

so far this month i've been jacked by

1. work not paying for cart dent in right front fender
2. work trying to not give me my tuition reimbursement benefit
3. this girl name Iris who totally played and used me
4. im having a huge fiasco with that Accident i was in (not my car) we rolled like 6 times and i lost my new cell phone. car toys SUCKS AS WELL DONT BUY FROM THEM. they aren't honoring the $80 worth of insurance that my parents paid for in case of theft or loss. The police report wasnt even credible enough.
5. AND THEN THE WHEEL CRAP! AGHAGHAGHAGHGHAHGA and that is just in the past month! somebody is gonna get beaten.... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

4 days later I get a call saying while he was on the phone with someone else taking there order.. the last 4 were sold.. an tried talkin me into these other stupid tires..... I was like what the F*ck you ***** why didnt you put my order in when I gave you my info?


f*ck wheelmax... since then I have opted a new route light wieght 15x.6.5 rota slipstreams... half the price.. half the wieght.. good handeling tires to boot

I know what you're going through. I ordered my rims from a magazine and they gave me the lowest price. Come to find out, they were selling me second hand rims. They didn't tell me or anything. They also forgot to tell me that they didn't have any in stock at that time. So I had to wait soooo long. When I said to cancel my order and send my money back, they said that it would take about 6 weeks to send it back to me. What a bunch of crap! Be careful of where you order your rims.

I bought my tires from Wheelmax and was very satisfied with their service. I did have a problem with the tires when I took them on the freeway and almost shook my self to death. The tires were not properly balanced so I had to pay to rebalance them. The only reason why I wasn't that mad was because it only cost me $25 for Lifetime mounting, balancing, and rotation at my local tire shop, something I would have bought any ways..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I just ordered a set of rims from whalentires.com. They prices were actually comparable to wheelmax or cheaper. Wheelmax advertises one price, but then adds this and that for moutning, and lugs, and locks, balancing, etc..... They even quote a higher shipping cost than whats advertised on the website. But Whalen tire gives me free mounting and balancing. So far so good - the order is on the way and I should be seeeing my rims by weeks end. Did not deal with a sales person but did the whole order online directly.

BTW - advise for all you 18 year olds or younger who are just getting used to the credit card world - I STRONGLY suggest that you do NOT get urself a "check-card". You know why? cuz when somebody screws up your order - lets say for $1000 - guess wat? YOUR money in YOUR bank account of $1000 is GONE and you wont get it back UNTIL the problem is solved. But if you use a real credit card - that $1000 that is gone is NOT your money but the credit card company's. And you can complain to your credit card company and NOT HAVE TO PAY the $1000 until the problem u have with the vendor is resolved.

I wonder if the people who own these companies know what kind of idiots they have working for them. Maybe do some of them even care. Do they know how much business they could be doing if they cleaned up their act? Everybody on this board should call the BBB wherever this wheel max is and give them a bad report.

Time was when you could order anything from any supplier and get what you ordered without any problems. Now with internet it seems any Joe Shmo can put up a nice website and seem like a real business when half of them don't have anything but an oder taker. That really sucks.

We all need to report stuff like this and when true, just avoid those stupid dealers till the just go out of buisness. Just let the good ones survive.

Over 3800 members here plus those on other sites OUGHT TO HAVE SOME CLOUT and OUGHT TO GET USE IT.

i ordered some white omni's from there and it wasn't that much drama from them... they had my address wrong they had dixen instead of vixen, but ups cleared that up and i think i got it from them in about a week, nothing damaged or anything

Wheelmax is a crappy mil order company that needs to rot in hell, they dont take orders online so they always mess up personal info, they say its to prevent ordering the wrong rims... heh what a joke, if you dont knwo exactly what rims u need with what bolt pattern and offset you shouldnt be getting them anyway.
