^^ the benifit is that you don't have to have a PS pump to take away hp from the engine. I am mainly using it because i will have a turbo kit in the near future, and the PS hose runs right across where the the turbo mani will be.
i currently have it. its going in my car very soon...

^^^ all you need from this swap is the kunucles with the hubs, rotors, caliper brackets and calipers, outband cv joints, and ebrake cables. this is all you need...and for a bonus you can get the prop valve and the brake mast cylinder.

yea thats coo, but you dont need the brake booster, wat you really need is that prop valve or else your rear brakes are gonna work harder than the front....that is wat mine is dong right know. and the main important thing i should tell you, cuz i went through alot of trouble for this part when i did my brake swap, is the axles....you can fit the types outband cv joint over our civic axles, but then the splines wont match up at all.....so id suggest you get some axle shop to make you some axleshafts for you(cost me about $300 a side and that was a fat discount) or you get a professional welder to tig weld the rsx type s outband cv joint to the axles.......(i already did this cuz i needed to get my car running quick for school and work, etc...) but only bad thing about that is that i HIGHLY advise you to take it easy when driving the car, cuz if you cant afford those custom axle shafts then this is your last resort. and also if you drive it hard with the welded axles you can brake those welds......
i currently have my custom axle shafts in my car now, but my kswap is coming along soon so im gonna have thge stock types complete axles in there soon once i have everything ineed for the k swap....

just type s...you cannot use base brakes cuz the hub is a 34mm and the huib for the type s is 36mm....so the outer joint for the base would not fit on tyhe civic axle, but the types outer cv joint will fit over the civic axle and will work with some professional tig welding.
if anyone wants to see pics of my type s brakes on my car lemme know. and also any questions lemme know.
just rememeber you need a type s outer cv joint tig welded onto your stock civic axles in order for this whole swap to work.

ok you guys here i started a new thread to answer EVERYONES questions about this swap
http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...68#post4089468
i HIGHLY advise you guys to think long and hard about this, cuz for most of you guys prolly dont have hookups for machine shops to make custom axleshafts for you guys, and if your going to the welded axle route, your drivetrains integrity will go down severly and i would not advise driving hard with the welded axles. but there you guys go....i will get some pics of my car with the wheels on and everythign cuz ive been driving it to skoo and work n stuff(150miles a day round trip) with the whole 5 lug brake swap in and plus wat i have to do left is to put the types master cylinder in(its bigger, 15/16" piston as oppose to our 5/8" piston) and also the type s brake prop valve since rigth now the brakes are bias to the rears, oh yea i got the brake master and the prop valve just waiting.

im about to do my k swap soon but right now i have my custom axles shafts in my car right now......
types brakes with no problem...hahah naw if you dont go the custom axleshaft route then you gonna need to have someone tig weld your axles....only way....cuz the splines dont match up at all.
