Sad Story...
My buddy had a set of 20" chrome rims on his vic. He's one of those F&F type guys that drives pretty damn hard. Well just the other day he was doing a hard corner and manages to snap the passenger side control arm or something like that. The result was the front passenger side of his car and bumper were almost touching the the pavement.
Good thing he wasn't on the 401 when this happened. Could have cost him his life. The lesson here is "PLEASE DON'T RUN 20's ON A VIC. THE CAR WAS NOT DESIGNED TO HANDLE 20's AND IS JUST PLAIN DANGEROUS FOR EVERYDAY DRIVING."

I think there was a thread on this a few months back on how 20" wheels can damage certain suspension pieces. Basically the regular Civic wasnt designed for anything too large. IMO, 17" is almost pushing it.
