larger tires in front?

i've got a n00b question--does anyone know if running 205 60 15s in the front and 185 65 15s in the back is bad for the car?

Or vice versa? Are there any benefits to running different tire sizes between the front and back?

thanks for your help.

no advantage, especially no advantage when the diameters are different. All the off the shelf suspensions are tuned for even tire diameters, and unless you've got a lot of time and money to spend ordering new springs until you get it right, its hardly worth the effort. Just run wider tires all the way around.

what about for daily driving? would it mess anything up?

the story is I bought some rims, but they came with the 2 tire sizes I mentioned. it doesn't seem like anything bad will happen, but i'm a little about it.

Get 4 of the same size. If the diameters are off, the ABS goes insane, and you don't know what it'll do to emergency handling.
