Question 205/50-17

Should I put 205/50-17 on a 17-inch Grams Light T57-RC ??

If you have 40 series 17s they are slow and put the weight far from the center, but liveable.
the 50 series are taller for higher gearing, more power cumsumption (heavier and further from center), and they will probably rub with any drop.

What's the point? Unless your only reason for wanting them is road noise, You should have gotten some 16's. A 50 series sidewall will look retardedly high. I have 45 series and I think they're way too thick. And like Pon said, if you're dropped at all, they WILL rub

The best option for minimal road noise, minimal speedometer distortion 215/45

Best for looks is 205/40R17

Best compromises are 205/45 or 215/40

You post was tire size, not rim size??? Put 205-40-17 on them if you can get around the pot holes!
