lately my front left brake has been making weird noises when i apply certain pressure. i mostly only hear it while going slower, like as im about to come to a stop. never hear it while cruising down the street and hit the brakes..that is until right before i stop. also, there is vibration from it. meaning the car shakes when i press the brake and it does feel like the left. the faster im driving the more violent the shaking. its quite minor shaking, not to bad unless im going over 50 and press the brakes hard. i dont know what this is. i looked at the brakes and the pads have atleast an 1/8inch left. one thing i did notice was near the very outside edge of the rotor, a small scratch. its really small, difficult to see, but you can feel with your fingernail. i cant imagine this being the problem seeing how my friend was driving his grandam on no brake pads, grinding the rotors down and no vibrating like this. thanks for all help.
