Brembos Or Rotoras?

Ok Guys I Need Some Input, Im Planning On Getting New Brakes. Im Looking Into Gettting Some Rotoras Or Brembos, But I Have Read In Some Threads That Big Brake Upgrades Arent That Great As Far As Performance, And That I Might Lose Braking Distance. Is This True? Will Some One Who Has Upgraded Give Me Some Insight. Also, If It Turns Out Big Brake Upgrade Isnt Worth It, What Brake Pads Perform Well? Are There Some That Wear Faster Than Others, Or Are Low Quality? Those Of You That Have Used Different Types Of Pads Can You Help And Let Me Know How Your Experience Was With The Different Pads? I Would Appreciate The Input, I Need New Brakes Soon So Hopefully U Guys Can Help.

afaik going to big brakes only helps if you're autocrossing your car, because the brakes don't fade like the stockers. I haven't heard about the losing braking distance thing, but I do know for a fact that putting bigger brakes on will cost you 1-2 H.P, due to the larger rotors increasing the rotational mass and the force needed to get it going. I know aznboysrfr just put a big brake kit onto his car, so he would be the one to ask so you can get a recent comparison of OEM to Big brakes.
