most preferred rim size for civic sedan

between the 2, which size would you prefer based on looks (wheel gap) & performance?

hey guys, i need some advice on choosing rims sizes.

i drive an 04 sedan and i'm installing the eibach prokit.

which tire size would accentuate with the springs better and not create a major gap or chances of rubbing.

thanks bro-ski's

17's look great, but 16's look good as well. i was debating this, but i have decided on 16's for my sedan because they are cheaper and still look great imo

i have a set of 18's with a 225/40/18 with eibach prokits as well but also using kyb agx's. in all honesty the 18's are too big. i think 17's are perfect but you will need a 215/45/17 to fill in the wheel well gap. i have about and inch now with the 18's and 225/40's so the 17's with 215/45's will be about the same. the pics that i have are already uploaded in the site so i cant repost them here but i do have pics in the clean 7thgens thread

17 if you dont mind the more harsh ride compared to 16 (and more rubber). I chose 16 b/c my Civic was a daily driver and I'm in NYC so.............

it all depends on the tire as well. you can get a similar size sidewall for the 16 as you can for the 17. so basically its down to what size do you like. i personally dont like bubly tires. i love the way a 215/45/17 looks just enough tire not too much rims or tire, but that is me

You have an 04 EX right?
I'd keep the stock 15' rims and get some 205s later.

If I had the chance I'd trade my 17s for some 04/05 EX rims anyday.

Just noticed you are in GG...funny that I've never seen your car on the road before.

rob (spoonem) has a set of rota grids in royal bronze as well and he is local too. the gt3's would be sick on a MM EM2 in red
