Rims And Tires? Help!!!

Hey everyone, i have an idea of what type of rim I want,

http://www.motegiracing.com/wheels/d...yle=2378&desc=

I am not sure what size tire to go with. I think I am going with a 17" rim but I am not what size tire a 40 or a 45? I am not dropping my civic until mabye the end of summer or next year so for now I just want to fill in the gap. Will the 45 make that much difference? what does everyone think? PICS would help a lot.

Thanks in advance
Joe

i agree, you want to fill the gap then dont put rims on with out a drop, your gunna create more of a gap, do it the other way get the drop now (cheaper) then get rims at the end of the summer or next year

either size works, 40's are alittle bit shorter making the ride alittle ruffer. I've run them both and that was really the only difference.

Question is are you going w/ 205 or 215? B/c that will also affect how wide your sidewall is, to me get the 215/45 the ride is better but it will look a little fatter.

i have 215/45/17 size tires. falken ziex ze512. i like that size cause it's not too thick or too thin. it looks just right and the ride is pretty comfy.
