brake question......

It's time for me to have the brakes done. What pads could I purchase that won't destroy the rotors. Also, do I need to change the rear shoes or could I go longer on those. I heard the hawk pads are good up front but someone told me that they could destroy a rotor. Thanks for your help.

The "kindest" to rotor pads are OEM or OEM equivelants.... pretty much any organic base pad.

for shoes.... ushually you'll go through 2-3 set of front pads for every set of rear shoes. but have them checked to be sure.

ok then. Has anyone ever heard of the hawk pads destroying the stock rotors.
