isn't like everyone here running that size?
I have 205/50/16 and 205 is perfectly sized for our wheel wells (205/50/16 recommended directly by the wheels which are from honda so obviously 205 is ok)

Rep Power: 324 I'd say 75% of people who have 17's on our cars run that size. It puts the Speedometer 3 mph under (When your speedo shows 60, you're actually going 57). I myself run 215/45R17's. I'm half a mile an hour over stock reading, but the ride quality is excellent. My next set of tires will be 215/40R17's, because I want a lower profile tire but don't want the speedo to be off by that much.
By the way, go fling poo at whoever told you at that shop. They don't need to be in business anymore if that's the advice they give.

Rep Power: 234 Id make that the last time u go to that shop. Some shops believe that you can only run the size that your car comes with. Last time i got tires i had to argue with the dumbass cuz he said that a 205/55/15 would rub. Some people are just plain stupid and shouldnt have the jobs they have. Why is it that people who have never done jack to cars work at the counters of shops? riddle me that.

Rep Power: 262 With my 17's Honda put 215/45R17s on but I think 205/45 is the perfect size if I remember correctly. Either way my tires are fine with the 215/45 and the speed is barely off if it even is since honda said the recalibrated the speedo(prolly bs tho)
