hey'all

im new on this board and a newbie when it regards to civics and i love my car....

anyway, i need your suggestions...my rear tire blew up on the interstate last nite so i need a couple or maybe get all 4 tires since i just got my 02 coupe last october...this is my daily ride and drive 65miles one way to work so i need something good but not that expensive...still got the stock steel rims tho but getting a set of rims in the near future....any ideas what tires i shd get? thanks a lot...

depends on what you want to do with your car, if your car is strictly a commute car... I suggest BF Goodrich Traction TA, of course there are better but this tire is not too expensive.

my favorite tire (all around) I have experiences is the Toyo Proxes 4 tire. Its an all season, so you can drive it in rain and very mild snow. But with an ultra high performance rating it really grips well. Those would work great on some aftermarket wheels. They are a little costly, and only last maybe 15,000-20,000 miles even with rotating, but they are a blast to drive and are great value for the price (~100 each)
