Good offset of 16x7 rims?
Hi!
I'm thinking of getting a set of Rota Slipstream in a 16x7 for Autocross... And my question is, what's a good offset for this size? Is +40 or +45 better? Thanks!
BTW, I did a search but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for... Thanks!

But I think 15 is too small I find. Too much flexing or tire roll...

Well then you need to do some serious alignment work. You have the ability to run lower pressures by getting the alignment to the point where the tire doesn't roll over on the sidewall. If you're alignment isn't right, then you're not gaining anything.
The use of a 205/50/16 tire over a 205/50/15 tire accomplishes nothing but make the car slower because of the increase in overall diameter. The sidewall is the same height, it flexes just as much. If you're thinking of using the 205/40/16 falkens I wouldn't. The load rating isn't high enough to support the weight of the car.

205/50/15 is faster, but the overall diameter of the wheel is too small from origial specs...
And I was planning to run 215/45/16. It's still small, but not as small.
I think my camber is fine... I have -0.5 in the front and around -2.3 in the rear...

pffft. Thats completely *** backwards. No wonder you've got problems.
-2.3 in the front, -.5 or -1 in the back would be more like it.
205/50 is not too small, its what most of us run to race. Screw the odometer, you take the wheels off when you leave anyways.
