Rim Doesnt sit flush --HELP--

I have 4x100 rims 17" with 205/40/zr17, but the first time i took the stock wheel off, it was like it was stuck on the hub, so i had to yank it and it finally came undone, then when i went to put my 17" on it, it wouldnt sit flush when i held it, my friend had to use his impact wrench and "smoosh" it on. what gives? what am i doing wrong? and why does it do this

Is your wheel fitting around the hub. Do you have those hub centric rings on that are not needed? if it doesnt fit there is probly an obvious reason why...

yeah take them off they may be the wrong size... ive had three sets of rims that came with those things and i never once put them on... when the wheel is tightend down there is really no need for them... try it and see what happens.
