Rep Power: 0 Getting new rims and tires
Well Im starting to save for rims and tires this summer. I need to replace my all seasons, they're worn, and with the snow its just too dangerous.
I've got an eternal blue sedan.... Im thinking about black with a chrome lip, or bronze? 16's, maybe 17's but no bigger.
How much of a drop?
Im posting this because I know NOTHING about rims. Any suggestions on tire/rim packages?
Thanks

Rep Power: 271 Posting to give you an idea of black+polished - 17" - 215/45 (though only go this size if you intend to roll your fenders), dropped as well (thus the reason behind the roll)

Rep Power: 400 Here's my advice since you say you know nothing. Read up. The FAQ, the picture thread, the members rides, the rest of the internet (most notably places like tirerack.com, 1010tires.com, etc)that have info pages.
Secondly, most rim places put new rims out in the spring, they know people go rim shopping for summer/show season.... so wait until the new **** comes out before you get your heart set on anything. Do some research figure out what you think you want, then go looking for specifics a few weeks before you're ready to buy.

What rims are you running? I dont want to spend a whole lot of money... Im in university right now.... and those look expensive
Im thinking about buying used, and I know theres always rims in the For sale section.
