what size tires for 15's

well now that i got my replacement key, i can put on my winter wheels...i just recently bought some 15's for the winter and im not sure what size tires to get...im thinkin 195 60 15...any other suggestions?

u should stick to ur stock tire size...if ur car came with 190.60.15 then stick with it or u can downsize to 185.65.15

195/60 or 205/55 or 205/60. 195/60 gives the least % off from stock size.

edit: didnt notice it was for snow/winter..... 185

I am using 185/65's for my winter tires. They work excellent.

Why is it easier to cut a piece of rope with a knife than a basball bat. Wider tires will actually "float" on the snow and will yield you no traction.

Also, with skinner tires, there is more weight distributed in a smaller spot.

whats the stock rim size...15 x 5.5? the rims im tryin to put on are 15 x 6.5...does that matter?
