Impact Wrench

If I were to buy a electric impact wrench to remove and put rims/wheels on . What kinda things should I look out for. I don't want something that is tooo powerful that I will screw up something, but I want something that will be able to remove the nuts.

Any brand name or modle that you guys use???

A lot of people use the cheap **** ones from Harbor Freight because ALL of them suffer from the same issue.... they suck *** and break no matter what. None of them have enough power to cause damage, but make sure you have one that can bang at least 110 lb-ft, if not more.
Honestly, spend $25 on a 7.2V cordless drill, crack off and torque on the lugs yourself with a wrench. Its safer than trying to impact them on.

the ones from harbor freight are ****. I purchased one that said up to 330 lb. ft of torque and it would take about 20-30 seconds to remove the lub nut if even at all. I used it once, then put it up on ebay for $1. its easier to use the bar that comes with the car.

I bought on from autozone for $70. It supposedly puts out 200 ft/lbs. Its worked good for 2 weeks, and i used it to take off my suspension. And if it breaks i got a free lifetime warranty.

sorry to ask but are impact guns and impact wrenches the same? oh yea, are they necessary in installing an AEM pulley?

other than that, what's a good soldering tool? does that cold heat thing work?

yes, guns and wrenches are the same thing.
This isn't the place for pulley installs
and soldering is a completely different subject all together, once again, somewhere else.... but if you're gonna solder, use a hot iron or gun.

dont forget to buy IMPACT SOCKETS! if you use regular (silver/chrome) sockets, they may explode on the gun
