ADR wheels?

I've hurd a lot of different stories about ADR wheels. some say they wre poorly made and others say they are strong and will last for a while. What you guys think? I was looking at the ADR sokudo wheels.

You can make **** and still get it to last a while. Just like every other cheap wheel made in the same factory, if you don't go slamming over potholes and curbs, they'll last. If you start smashing it up, forget about it.
Finish and and appearance durability, I have no idea.

I had ADR's on my old '98 ex and I hit something in the road and it took a chunk about 2-3" long out of the inner lip of front rim and put a crack in the center of the rear rim so air leaked. Rim looked like porcelin that broke. lol. Until then I had no problems, but I would never buy an ADR rim again. Just my .02

I've had 2 sets of adr wheels, they're really cheap and they are pretty strong (i've hit a few big potholes and survived w/o a scratch)
if u dun got much Cash but want bigger/nicer rims than stock, go for it
they're not bad at all

^^ Like most of this stuff, what you choose often depends on how you plan to use it.

ADR = good but heavy
Heavy = less miles per gallon + slow acceleration
18" and up = worse miles per gallon + slow acceleration

If i were you I'd get a lite set of 17" wheels or HRP Wheels with good rubbers.
I know i got 18" ADR Comp 7s.

i've had my adr dv-8s for about 2 years now, only problem is on one of my rims the finish is startin to flake a little bit, thats the only problem...well that and they're like 50lbs with air at 35 psi. anyway, they're pretty good for being my first set of rims ever. if i could go back i think i would have bought some 15 or 16 inch bronze rota slipstreams, or something of that style.

ADR wheels look pretty good in some aspects and i've even seen a few on some really nice cars in honda tuning, super street etc.. they are respectable
