not happening this week. We were ready to go, my friend didn't know you can't carry the caliper by the floating part, it came off the pins, hit the ground and one of the pins bent. So I gotta get a new pin. Try again next week.

New pin ordered.... these fuggers aren't cheap (I'm guessing there's a Type R price hike) but I'll have it thursday.

Its fairly standard with special model cars that all the parts cost more. M parts, AMG parts, SRT parts, etc.... they're specialized to a specific car (although the ITR brakes are also shared with the Prelude and Accord V6), you're looking at a couple lower production cars when compared to the mainstream lineup. Make less, charge more.

k20EX is an unknown quantity at this point
Well, it says it includes the SS braided lines and then it also says the brackets are PRE-CUT, no mods necessary. Maybe they have taken out the step of grinding down the bracket and charged more money

Theres the extra money.... they started machining the brackets. That would add $100 bucks to the price, but its worth the headache.

They read this thread and realized that if a well respected 7thgener just bought their product...they could make more by jacking the price a little

Looks like a great kit though. Any reviews on the differences you've noticed?
